𝗚𝗶𝗿𝗹𝘀 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗳: Freshman Jordyn Hafernick (107) led the Lady Hornets, finishing 8th individually. Alexa Johnson and Patsy Pineda also had solid performances. #CaldwellProud #CaldwellISD

A coworker nominated her, saying Ms. Gillar "works hard toward improving the learning of our students so that they can fully experience Science in an engaging and safe environment. She leads our 5th Grade GT students in exploration and experiments that have real-world applications, organizes CIS UIL events to the benefit of our competitive students at the CIS campus, sponsors the chess club yearly, and interacts regularly with the community as a volunteer at the local library, where she helps plan and organize public library events throughout the year. Ms. Gillar works very hard to improve the educational environment, education, and community environment of Caldwell citizens!"

She was nominated by her teacher, who says, "Bree is an exceptional student. She goes above and beyond to share kindness, respect, and show compassion for all those she comes in contact with. I have her in two classes this year, Honeybees and Government & Economics. She is the most respectful student I have. She always answers with a "yes, ma'am". She goes out of her way to ask how my day is and does this for her fellow students as well. She is eager to help other students in both Honeybees and social studies. I am nominating her because she is the ideal Hornet. She is responsible and exhibits outstanding Caldwell Hornet character through treating everyone with respect and kindness."
