Yesterday, the CHS campus gave Landon a special send-off filled with support from the band, cheerleaders, tennis team, family, and friends as he headed to compete on the biggest stage in Texas high school tennis.

"Our nurse, Mrs. Magee, is truly an angel on earth. Where do I even begin? She has taken my son’s diabetes diagnosis and gone above and beyond in every possible way to care for him. From buying him snacks for when his sugar is low to surprising him with little gifts just to remind him he’s loved, she pours so much heart into what she does. Because of her, my husband and I are able to feel at ease while we’re away from him during the day. She keeps me updated, watches over him so closely, and makes sure he is always safe, healthy, and happy. The love and dedication she shows mean more to our family than words can truly express." -Parent

Oh, and did I say that she lives all the way in Brenham? That's 40 min away from school, so she has to wake up so early to come care for us, and the hardest part is that she has to always stay in a good mood!
