🌟 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 🌟 This morning's Bright Star Breakfast was filled with heartfelt moments as our 2025 Bright Stars honored the teachers who’ve made the biggest impact on their lives. Each student shared a personal message of gratitude, reminding us all of the lasting influence educators have. We also recognized 𝟱 𝗛𝗲𝗷𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 recipients—exceptional Hornets continuing their academic journey with well-earned support. But those worries disappeared pretty quickly after meeting Ms. Kazmir at Meet the Teacher Night! She's been awesome this year—quick to keep us in the loop with updates and even sharing some fun stories our son tells her. We can’t thank her enough for her patience and kindness. She's really made a positive difference in our son's life, and we couldn't have asked for a better teacher for his first year at Caldwell ISD." --Parent

🎉 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭: 𝐌𝐫. 𝐒𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐚𝐳𝐨 🎉 After 24 years of service to Caldwell ISD, Mr. Lazo is retiring! Known for his patience, kind heart, and incredible flexibility in teaching everything from Spanish to Science, he’s truly been a jack of all trades. Mr. Lazo has always stepped up—taking on whatever role was needed—and doing it with grace and humility. We are so thankful for the many years he’s poured into our students, staff, and community. She has been so great with my son, and all the things he has learned have amazed me. She keeps me well informed and is always sending pictures and messages on remind about their day. There was one Monday morning where I personally felt defeated from the Monday morning typical blues. I sent her a message confirming I would be bringing his field trip money. She said thanks and then went on to tell me I was an incredible mother. That moment of kindness brought me to tears. We all have our days, and little did she know, she made the greatest impact in turning my whole day around. She is a remarkable teacher and a beautiful soul.
